BIOGAS AND BIOMETHANE FOR A GREEN ECONOMY
Recovery and savings become profit
Giving value to waste and reducing pollution are great economic and ecological opportunities.
Biogas is an energy and economic resource with short-term investments.
Before it can be used as biofuel, biogas generated in landfills and digesters must be “purified” by removing moisture and undesirable products that are easily condensable or filterable.
Dehumidification is necessary in all processes in which biogas is used, both to produce energy (in endothermic engines) and to produce biogas (biogas upgrading).
The biomethane is
produced by upgrading biogas with different technologies (chemical and
physical) to be pumped into the gas network, in gas containers or liquefied
for use in automotive.
